CherrieL: Bottom False Lashes Makeup

Hello loves, Here's a quick tutorial on how I apply bottom false eyelashes. The lower lashes brand I used to makeup is from Taiwan. For lower lashes, I like to apply it with tweezers and I will cut 3 piece lashes for easy to apply. I personally just apply 2 pieces on end of eye. *picture on below

After you done your eyeshadow makeup, for top lashes I will using tweezers grip your false eyelash and apply the false eyelash in the centre of lashline and adjust as necessary. Once you have applied your false eyelash, let the glue dry and reapply eyeliner to hide for a flawless look. Of cause never forget apply mascara like normal blending your natural eyelashes with your false eyelashes. For lower lashes, I like to apply with tweezers and leave a little space between the lash itself and your lower lashline. Or you can shade a little bit of eyeliner to see where to place it, then apply your lower false eyelash and fill the space with eyeliner.

It's a very easy way to apply bottom false eyelashes. Sharing my little tips, personally I will apply a little mascara before I apply false eyelash. Hope you guys will like this tutorial from DuoGigs.

Hello loves! For this time Duo Gigs would like to share our new in NARS cosmetic palette. It is very useful color for every fashionista. Well, if you are looking for a makeup ideas to impress yourself or want to know Duo Gigs makeup look? Try this natural cat eye makeup you can whip up in just 15 minutes.

First step, after prepping the eye area with a base, line the upper lashline with YvesSaintLaurent eye pencil, then use the liquid eyeliner to line up the end of eye.

Before the eyeliner sets, smudge it with NARS Ondine eyeshadow to soften the look. Using a fluffy brush sweep the NARS Nepal eyeshadow onto the eyelid, blend past the crease. Apply a few coats of black mascara on top and bottom lashes. Add a pair of half fake lashes, smile big and apply the shade from NARS Orgasm blush onto the cheek.

Finish the look with a pink lipstick like NARS BabyDoll lipstick. And here is the result.

It had been cloudy all day in Chiang Rai, I arrived in Chiang Rai in a downpour, It rarely cold at this time of year. But as we know it, weather is unusual all over the world. God bless.
So, here is another brief fashion update. The leather motocross jacket in grey and black from Topshop is my big love all the time. Mixed materials are hot, that's why I picked the leather jacket because it is spin with the leather and perfect cotton-sleeve. Also set apart by ribbed panels and zipped sides, team it with Forever 21 knit scarf and a high-waist little black short to ensure a chic silhouette.

The right color highlights can accentuate eyes and complement your skin tone. I did a lot of research for my 'coming-up-next' hairdo and I found that the color of your highlights should enhance your face, not detract from it. For an example, warm skin tones should be combined with warm hair colors, like red, copper, and gold. For the cool skin tones should be combined with cool hair colors. Duo Gigs spotted a lot of people with warm skin has hair color that’s too ashy, making their skin looks green.

So this is my best choice. Highlight and bleached my hair with yellow base tone.

Outfit today was pretty casual. Was pretty enjoying the Sun-Kissed-Skin.

So last week I headed down KL Convention Centre for Foster The People's 1st gig in Malayisa. The LA boys, Mark Foster (vocalist), Cubbie Fink (bassist) and Mark Pontius (drummer) gave us full of excitement. It was a rocking good concert.

Finally, the show ended on a high note with their set with an outstanding performance of Pumped Up Kicks with a little remix added to it, which the crowd was more than excited to sing along to.

CherrieL: Little trick for your hair

Hello loves! For some reason, it seems that those of us with straight hair want waves, and those with waves want it straight. You know, women changes all the time. So here I am, sharing a little trick for our Duo Gigs's loves. All my lovely friends know that I have the stick-straight hair. It's pretty annoying, so I've had to learn a trick to making bouncy and more zigzag in waves.

This is my trick, braiding. The easiest way to wave hair, without the harmful styling products, and the one that I most often use recently. It's depending on how much wave you looking for, I may tie more than 6 braids in my hair. First step is, take your slightly wet hair and divide it into 4-5 sections. The second step, if you are looking for soft waves then braid loosely, and braid tight for tight waves just like the pictures below.

Easy to do, just need soft bands to tie braids, and get off to your comfy bed and sleep. Then next day you would love the waves I pretty sure.

Last but not least, found an article. "Braiding the hair every night with at least one braid keeps you from pulling and stretching it in the night. This reduces breakage and helps hair stay healthy." So what are you waiting? It's 2012, let's make a change!

Took a quick shot of my outfit the other day. Good thing I had brought this Miss Selfridge denim jacket along. I'm really loving it, I feel like it could match up any simple piece of clothing and make it appropriate for day or night.

Tried a new thing yesterday. Layering clothes is a big fun I have to say. It's a great way to looks more chic and also keep up with the latest trends in fashion. So long sleeved shirts under T-shirt is not the best way to go, but wearing a fit regular long sleeve denim shirt under a short blazer with half-sleeves is going to make you look very stylish and different. To have more catchy outfit, I also paired these funky red-white stripe shocks from Topshop. Pretty in love with it.

Duo Gigs: El cerdo

Happy Sunday everyone! Wishing everyone a wonderful day ahead! As for Duo Gigs, it's going to be a lazy afternoon! Don't feel like doing anything. Decided to blog a little before off to our comfy and enjoying the movie. Celebrated Berry’s birthday last Friday night, my dearest babe is getting old! We girls celebrated the birthday at El cerdo, Changkat.

We started off with this appetizers. Complimentary bread and pig liver pate. This doesn't stop me from trying. It taste quite good actually with the bread.

The Jamón Serrano & Jamón Iberico, dried ham and salami with salad, olives and cheese.

Cavatelli pasta with seafood and cheese.

Seafood soup. Best of the best.

Finally the main attraction is the suckling piglet. No one walk away without trying it. Compare with the Chinese version, the Spanish style suckling pig somehow tastes better.

There is a tradition ceremony before enjoying the suckling pig. You have to cut the piglet with a plate to prove that the pork is tender and then smash the plate in a pail. It will bring you good luck in either love or money, it's all your choice. Our birthday girl did a great job there. Clap for her.

Garden green salad that came with the suckling pig. It's good we can have some green after so much of pork overload. Also the Mashed Potatoes.

A drink which taste a bit lemon and lime, alcohol and salt on top.

Happy Friday! I love how liquid liner looks and I find it lasts longer and doesn't fade like eyeshadow or pencil liner. It so shame to know that I've never been particularly good at applying liquid liner however, but then I bought the Maybeline latest liquid liner and I can apply the liner perfectly, easy as ABC. I don't have a hard time getting either a thick or thin line. It is easy to use, feel good going on, and glides on smooth and so well. Dries fast, it comes in wonderful colors. Doesn't last all day you will have to carry in your purse to touch up especially if you touch your eyes a lot.

Yet another a short fashion update. Cut from vivid red stretch-cotton, Warehouse's red mini dress beautifully represents the romantic and the prefect figure. Also the feminine design is work perfectly for any fabulous party. Leopard print is the ultimate cool-girl combination but in this holiday session. I try to maximize the hot bright-red color with Zara's leopard-print fur jacket and Aldo's black high heels to finish. If you think the leopard is too wild for you, you can try to adding black accessories to make the bright-red color pop.

I love my life and I care about my health. Personally I think smoking is quite disgusting, most especially on girls. One of my friend told me that, smoking is like a huge part of the fashion industry. She's right, we can see a lot of examples of fashion photography involving cigarettes. I admit that those photographs are very interesting and glamourous, but I also feel so sad about it. Despite all the dire health warnings, fashion is still falling back in love with smoking and media, fashion advertising always convey a message like "if you want to be thin, beautiful, popular and fabuous, you should smoke". We all know #smoking kills. It can cause lung problems, cancer, cardiovascular problems. Smoking also can ruins your tasting and smelling and body’s ability to keep vitamins. I really hope that one day the fashion industry is a smoking free business. All people around me can finally comprehend that fashion loves to go back to reference itself. And smoking helps. It's a bit dreamy, a bit intellectual, it gets smoky and it fills the screen. But it's in films, in stills, in photos, in something that happened before. It's in two dimensions. Try to think of yourself, if you stop holding a cigarette, you can save your money up for more perfect pieces. #DUITFREE!

Evangeline: Wardrobe clean up

Hello lovelies! Can you believe Christmas is coming soon? We all know that, every new year comes with new starts and new resolutions. I hope all my lovelies had a wonderful holiday session and an amazing new year. Okay, let's get to the point. My very first order of business this year is refreshing my closet. To be honest with you, over the past few years my closet has become a bit overcrowded. And I also found that I have a lot of no-more-used pieces in my closet. The truth is, these pieces only taking up space and make it difficult to navigate through the closet. The worst part is ,it can make you extremely frustrated or discouraged.

Check the picture below. I guess you can clearly spot that my terrible closet, it's like a disaster.

So I'm here gonna share with my lovelies how do I clean up all the nasty pieces. Well, it's pretty easy but also take you long time to finish it. First, I will go through all my entire closet and try everything on. Be honest with yourself about FIT. If it doesn’t fit, give it away. I know sounds like WASTE, but try to think on the other side, You can do a great deal of good in 2012. Second, organize your closet by color and silhouette. This is a must because it will make getting dressed much easier. Don't be a lazy ass and stop giving yourself any excuses.

Last but not least, try to spend 30 minutes a week going through your closet. When you buy something new, just throw out something out. Yes, just because you bought new clothes, so you really don't need those funky ratty old clothes anymore, it will take out your space. Okay, I think I should really stop here and get back to clean up my terrible wardrobe. Love you lovelies.

This post is about my hairdo. I am really fascinated the hairstyle like Blake Lively and Amanda Seyfried. My hair is very long, weighted down and frizzy which is really hard to take care and style. But I still a long hair lover because long hair is the perfect length to create a variety of looks using different hair styling techniques like curler, blow dryer, combs and brusher. Sometimes when I do have more extra time, I will give my long length a boost, try few ideas and styling in my own way for the ultimate long hair makeover! It will help my hairstyle looks glam and different.

Here is my usual hairdo. As I said, it's frizzy and weigh down.

Blow dryer is the basic styling technique I need the most. Okay I understand, you probably think of the blowout is just like “drying the hair”, but in fact, the blowout is a part of styling. And when we done properly, you can create soft gentle curves in the hair. Just like the picture above.

Finally made a new hairdo for myself. Medium hairstyles always my best choice because it offer comfortable hair length that is not too long and not too short. These hairstyles is between long hairstyles and short hair styles. My hairstylist gave me a soft, textured bob. He also created graduated layers and made the cut a little longer in the front. This is very playful one, I love the bob because is a great example of medium length haircut that can go for several different hairstyles. CherrieL: Moovment 2011 KL Live

Far East Movement is in Malaysia, four members namely Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif and DJ Virman. KL Live was the venue for their concert last saturday night. Thanks to Roy Lai who called me up to join and the free tickets, I had the opportunity to catch this live at KL Live!

Reaching KL Live, I found out I was just in time to catch the appearance of Far East Movement's concert. I guess this is the only picture I take that night with Jane and Ashley. The concert kicked off with booming bass and loud music from Far East Movement which got everyone crazy. When Far East Movement appeared, the crowd literally went wild.

Far East Movement did a really good performing keeping the crowd entertained throughout the night.

A question here, Do you put fake eyelashes before after make up? As you know, Evangie was a lazy girl. She can just hang out with Undone-makeup, means she always lazy to apply the fake lashes, even mascara. It's easy, and this is her eye make up when she hang out.

Finally Evangie swear to make a change. She want to have a more dramatic look when she go out and catch everyone's attention. It is not hard to apply fake eyelashes in an professional way if you follow a few easy tips. Here is a little tips from Evangie. You should do your eye make up first, brown eyeshadow will do. Second step, put one coat of mascara on your real lashes, and then put on the fake ones. If there are any signs of the lash glue you can put eyeliner over it. After all that you can apply a coat of mascara over the fake lashes.
